Gayna's Multi-level Classes

With Gayna's years of yoga teaching experience since 1970, she can tailor each yoga posture to the ability-level of each individual, as well as answer questions students may have about yoga. This class begins with some seated poses, includes Sun Salutations, and can include standing poses, sitting poses, forward bends, back-bends, as well as inversions. She often asks at the beginning of class if there are any requests, then addresses those requests as an integral part of the class.

Teaching Svaroopa Style Yoga - Levels 1

Hanuman

Hanuman's beginning level Svaroopa Style Yoga class provides a space to let go of the pain and tension in your body and life and truly rest. It is great for all body types and leaves you in a state of restful alertness. Svaroopa is a Sanskrit word translated to mean your true essence. The experience of your true essence is Bliss full. Dawn's Sivananda Class on Saturday mornings has become a popular and invigorating way for many local residents to start their weekend. Intermediate to advanced yoga enthusiasts will find much to enjoy here.

Dawn also teaches a Pre-Natal Yoga class on Wednesday's from 10 am till 12 pm ...and following that...
... a wonderful Mama & Baby Yoga class on Wednesday's from 12 pm to 1:30 pm!

Beginning & Multi Level Yoga
* Beginning Yoga Sundays 10 - 11: 30 am & Mult Level Yoga Wed.  6 pm - 7:30 pm

All-levels hatha yoga using slow movement and long holds to allow the postures to be a lens for focusing breath and mind. Attention is paid to safe alignment and individual abilities will be accommodated.

* Gayna will be teaching Ann's Sunday, July 27th and Wednesday, July 30th classes while Ann is away.

Emma is dedicated to providing a safe, playful learning environment.  In each class, students can expect a full spectrum of thoughtfully sequenced asanas, with attention to specific alignment principles.  Class will revolve around a specific heart theme, inspiring students to explore their practice on and off the mat.  Each practice will conclude with a yummy savasana and short meditation.  All levels are always welcome!  Come and celebrate the infinite possibilities our bodies have to offer!

   Ashtanga

Ashtanga Yoga - Level 2-3

Ashtanga Primary Series: A specific vinyasa flow series that definitely keeps you moving. It starts with sun salutations, moves into standing poses, forward bends, twists, inversions, and back-bends, and a very appreciated relaxation period to complete the series... Very fun and invigorating!  Previous experience practicing yoga is required. We often help each other in this class.
